Depositary treaties

The Kingdom of the Netherlands is the depositary for around 100 international treaties. A depositary has the task of ensuring the proper administration of a treaty: that is, managing information about a treaty’s entry into force and termination, the parties to it, and reservations and declarations that have been made.
