Until Belgium's central register of driving licences becomes sufficiently reliable, the Belgian authorities will share information only on vehicles. They will therefore enter a general reservation concerning the EUCARIS treaty's provisions on driving licences until Belgium joins the European Vehicle and Driving Licence Information System.

The minister may entrust the day-to-day management of the European Vehicle and Driving Licence Information System to the Société Nationale de Contrôle Technique (SNCT) according to rules to be laid down by Luxembourg law.
