New and modified treaties. An overview of newly added and modified treaties can now be found in the Home tab.

Agreement on the accession of the Portuguese Republic to the Convention (Schengen,
19 June 1990) implementing the Schengen Agreement of 14 June 1985 between the Governments
of the Member States of the Benelux Economic Union, the Federal Republic of Germany
and the French Republic on the gradual abolition of controls at their common borders,
to which the Italian Republic acceded by Agreement signed at Paris on 27 November
1990
