Comment
The Agreement entered into force on 20 June 1997 for the European part of the Netherlands
and on 10 October 2010 for the Caribbean part of the Netherlands (the islands of Bonaire,
Sint Eustatius and Saba).
By notification of 19 October 2020 the Kingdom of the Netherlands notified the Hong
Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China that application
of the present Agreement is suspended.
The suspension took effect on 21 October 2020.
