  On the occasion of its accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia, which was signed on 24 February 1976 (hereinafter referred to as the "Treaty"), the Kingdom of the Netherlands declares the following: 1. The Treaty shall be interpreted in accordance with the basic principles of the Charter of the United Nations. 2. The Treaty shall in no way affect the Kingdom of the Netherlands' rights and obligations under other bilateral and multilateral international agreements.
