Spain

The Kingdom of Spain states that, in accordance with the applicable constitutional provisions, the entry into force of this Agreement requires prior approval by the Spanish parliament. Without prejudice to that, the Kingdom of Spain states that, in the absence of any express objection by the other parties, it will apply the Agreement provisionally as from 29 December 2008. After obtaining parliamentary approval, Spain will without delay give notice of this to the other parties to the Agreement, which will then enter into force at the appropriate time.
