  NOW THEREFORE the Government of the United Arab Emirates, having considered and approved the said Convention, hereby formally declares its accession to the Nairobi International Convention on the Removal of Wrecks, and hereby notifies that the application of this Convention shall extend to wrecks located within the territory of the United Arab Emirates, including its territorial sea, in accordance with Article 3(2) of this Convention, subject to the following reservation: The United Arab Emirates is not a party to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, 1982 (UNCLOS), and the Government of the United Arab Emirates hereby makes a reservation with respect to Article 15 of this Convention concerning the settlement of disputes arising between the States Parties in accordance with the provisions of Part XV of UNCLOS.
